Mr. Golshani graduated from The George Washington University Law School in 2021, where he dedicated his time to advocating for consumer rights and community organizing. He was awarded the Dean’s Recognition for Professional Development for his active participation in GW Law’s advocacy programs. Prior to law school, he graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Political Science in 2016.

During law school, Mr. Golshani committed himself to public service. In his third year, he served as a Legal Intern with the United States Department of Justice, Civil Division, Environmental Tort Litigation Section, supporting the United States in two widely publicized military base toxic contamination cases. He also served as a Legal Extern with the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, Civil Litigation Division, supporting the interests of Washington, D.C., in a class action involving the D.C. Department of Corrections. Additionally, he worked as a law clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Central Trials, participating in the “Hollywood Ripper” trial of 2019 as a legal researcher. During his second-year summer, he worked at a prominent litigation practice in Beverly Hills, CA, litigating eviction cases through the California Eviction Moratorium during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In law school, Mr. Golshani distinguished himself as a passionate plaintiffs’ advocate. He was recognized as the top student in GW Law’s College of Trial Advocacy, earning the highest grade in his class for his mock trial performance. He also dedicated himself to community organizing at GW Law by founding the Class Action Mass Tort Law Society, promoting greater awareness among students to seek employment opportunities that support the most injured and vulnerable members of society rather than tortfeasors and corporations. Additionally, he founded the highly successful Middle Eastern & North African Law Society at GW Law, creating an affinity group to unite students of Middle Eastern descent and share their food, cultures, and traditions with the entire student body.
